Got Gillian Stuff???
Donate it for a great cause!!
You know that collection of clippings, pictures and postcards that you've got stuffed into boxes in your closet?
Or all those duplicate copies of magazines that you bought "just in case" because they had an article on Gillian or the XFiles and now you don't quite know what to do with them?
How about those trading cards that you bought 3 copies of because you just had to have them?
Well, how about recycling your Gillian and X-Files memorabilia for a great cause?!?!
Since there will no longer be official auctions run by Gillian's official site (GAWS), we at the GAGC are trying to figure out exactly how much "Gillian Stuff" is out there that we can reuse and recycle for auctions and raffle prizes.
The extra copy of a magazine that you bought for a couple bucks could help bring in a fair amount of money as a raffle prize. That 3rd copy of the 96 Rolling Stone with that great cover that you bought - imagine how much that could raise at auction!
All items donated will be used as prizes either in upcoming raffles (like the Wedding Shower raffle to take place this fall) or will be auctioned off later this year or next June, when the GA.ws auction would normally take place.
So if you've got something to give, please email us at GAGC Admin and tell us about it. If it's something you bought at auction, whether it was the GA.ws auction or another, it would help if you could let us know how much you ended up paying for it.
You don't necessarily have to send the items to us now it you don't want to... you can hang onto them until we're ready to use them.
Nothing is too small! Remember, these things were important enough to you at one point to buy them, someone else will surely appreciate owning them now. Non-English clippings, articles, magazines and books are definitely appreciated as well. We are, after all, the GLOBAL community - our members come from all over the world and we're hoping to attract even more people with these fundraisers.
